Description

“Waiting for…” is a V-neck jumper in a relaxed fit. The shoulder seams, accentuated with a decorative stitch pattern, are shifted towards the back using a modified version of English Tailored (also known as “fully fashioned”) shoulder shaping. The same decorative stitch is also repeated in the bottom part of the body, optically slimming the silhouette, while the wide, long sleeves give this sweater a modern touch.

The garment is knit from the top down completely seamlessly, starting with back neck shaping. After having knit the back piece to the underarm, stitches are picked up along the shoulders for the front and also worked to the underarm, where both parts are joined in the round and worked in one piece down to the ribbing. When the body has been completed, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and also worked in rounds from the top down. Optional short-row bust shaping for an extra good fit is included in the pattern.

This slightly cropped sweater is easy to pair with high-waisted denim or your favorite skirt.
